It's hard enough choosing one channel over another. Can you imagine getting the whole family to agree on 3D or 2D? With Sharp's new AQUOS Quattron 3D TVs, you won't have to.
Just announced, the company's first 3D LED LCD TVs have a few very unique features. First of all, they actually come with 3D glasses -- two pairs, to be exact. The great thing about these glasses is that they allow viewers the option to watch 3D or 2D at the the same time, all at the touch of a button, which is located right on the glasses. Why would you want to watch a 3D movie in 2D? Well, perhaps you're one of the small but significant portion of the population who cannot see the 3D effect. Or maybe your eyes are just getting tired. With the Sharp glasses you can switch yourself over to 2D viewing mode while the rest of the family continues to enjoy the show in 3D.
Other features include Sharp's previously announced quad-pixel Quattron technology (Oh, my!), as well as the X-Gen LCD panel, Frame Rate Enhanced Driving with the AquoMotion 240 driving circuit, and LED backlight side-mount scanning. Also, three Spacious Sound 3D modes promise a 3D experience from the audio side of your entertainment.
If you're in need of a little more to watch, each 925 unit features the AQUOS Net service, which is being enhanced to add more content from providers such as Netflix and VUDU. (Subscription fees may apply.) If you need help with getting that going, AQUOS Advantage Live has live advisors ready to help tweak your TV, right through your TV.
Each model in the LE925 series also has IP Control, which allows your PC or control panel to handle all of the TV's basic functions. Another nifty perk is that the TV comes with a USB Wi-Fi adapter, so you can easily network the TV as soon as it's out of the box.
Setup is also a snap, with four HDMI jacks with Instaport, an RS-232C input, and two USB ports, among other connectivity options.
The AQUOS Quattron 3D LE925 series comes in 60- and 52-inch screen sizes, the LC-60LE925UN and LC-52LE925UN. Both are available now with an MSRP of $5299.99 and $4199.99, respectively.
