Onkyo HT-S5200 7.1 Home Theater System: $395 with Free Shipping

By Rachel Cericola

Think you can't afford 7.1-channel surround sound? Think again. B&H Photo/Video is wrapping up a very nice Onkyo system into a very affordable package -- but only for a limited time.

Right now, you can get Onkyo's 7.1-channel HT-S5200 home theater package for $395. That price is $200 below list and also includes shipping costs. Here is the link (note that you must "add to cart" in order to see the lower price):

With this system, you can rock the house to the tune of 1200 watts. That averages out to 130 watts per channel, as well as 290 watts from the included 10-inch subwoofer. The set also features an iPod dock and support for Sirius Satellite Radio (subscription required).

Other highlights include Audyssey 2EQ Room Correction, Audyssey Dynamics EQ, Wide Range Amplifier Technology (WRAT), CinemaFILTER, and Music Optimizer. There's even Theater-Dimensional Circuitry, which allows you to enjoy 5.1 sound with only two or three speakers.

The kit comes with everything you need to set up the system, including speaker cables, floor pads and the setup microphone.

Onkyo typically lists this system for $599, so this is a pretty sweet deal. Of course, we don't expect it to last for very long, so act quickly!

UPGRADE DEAL: Get HDMI audio decoding capabilities, including DTS-HD Master Audio, Dolby TrueHD, Dolby PLIIz, analog video upconversion, an iPod dock and much more in the Onkyo HT-S7200, now at B&H for $599.95 ($300 off!):
