Onkyo HT-S7200 HTiB Home Theater System: $599.95 (Save $300)
By Rachel Cericola
Your HDTV and Blu-ray player have become your two best friends. The audio setup is another story. It's easy to think about getting a new system, but actually piecing the whole thing together takes time -- and money.
Well, it takes money, but a lot less than you think. B&H Photo/Video currently has a great deal on the Onkyo HT-S7200 Home Theater System. For just $599.95 (plus shipping), you'll get the HT-RC160 AV receiver and the UP-A1 iPod dock. It also has seven speakers and a powered subwoofer, for a total of 1200 watts. Here is the link:
Another nifty thing that we love about this setup is that it offers a whopping five HDMI inputs, with full HDMI audio support for single-cable simplicity. It's the perfect match for that HDTV and/or Blu-ray player that you love. After all, they give so much, isn't it time to match them with the right audio solution?
Onkyo's HT-S7200 system includes an amp, seven speakers, a subwoofer and an iPod dock.
In case you need an extra nudge, the system also includes Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio decoding, as well as Dolby Pro Logic IIz, which adds a little "height" to your wall of sound. In case you're worried about the setup process, the set has a microphone and Audyssey 2EQ calibration software on-board to help with the speaker settings, as well as an FM antenna, an AM antenna, a remote, and all of the wires you need to get the system up and running.
B&H usually sells the system for $800 and the list price is $899 - even Amazon sells it for $799 - which makes this a nice little deal, and one we don't expect to last very long. Just make sure to add the product to your shopping cart to see the sale price. B&H will pull the plug on the special pricing once current stock is gone, so order one while you can.
