Cyber Monday HDTV and Home Theater Deals By Store:
Amazon
The one to beat when it comes to online shopping, Amazon is a great place to buy electronics, and specifically TVs. Amazon offers free shipping on virtually all items over $25 (including TVs), 14-day price match on TV purchases (on their own site plus many of their competitors') as well as free return shipping on TVs. Also, this year Amazon is offering a new bonus: 2% back on TV purchases of $999 or more.
So when you see that Samsung, Panasonic or LG TV for the same price on 10 different sites (thanks to many manufacturers' new Universal Pricing Policy),you can actually get the best deal on Amazon. That free shipping plus 2% back means that Amazon is actually selling it for less than the competition. This makes Amazon the best deal on many of the higher quality sets from name brand manufacturers.
Amazon's Cyber Monday Week started Sunday and continues throughout the week with new Gold Box and Lightning deals every day, and every hour.
There are some great deals on Amazon.com already including a Panasonic 50-inch 1080p plasma for $599.99, a $20 Discount on all of the new ROKU streaming boxes (plus a bonus $5 amazon video credit), a massive 65-inch Samsung LED TV for $1497.77 (plus 2% back and free shipping). Rumor has it that they will even have the coveted new Wii U consoles on sale as a lightning deal at some point during the day on Monday.
Also, the Gold Box Deal on Cyber Monday is actually 3 different Panasonic LED TVs for up to 60% off list.
* AMAZON SHOPPING TIP * - Amazon hides the price of most televisions in the shopping cart in order to comply with manufacturers' Minimum Advertised Pricing policy (MAP). You must put the TV into your cart in order to see the discounted price. Also, when Amazon runs out of stock, they will frequently still honor the sale price of an item and deliver it to you when in stock. When this happens, the main price on the amazon product page may be higher. But look on the right hand side of the page for "Other Buying Choices" and if you see "Amazon.com" as the seller, you may still be able to get the best deal as well as all the other amazon benefits.
