Those Europeans sure like some stylish headphones -- and apparently, they're willing to pay for them. So behold, the Hublot Inspiration by Monster.
In case you couldn't tell by the title, the new headphone line is the result of a new alliance. However, instead of partnering up with a music mogul, Monster is making friends with luxury watchmaker Hublot. The end result promises high-fidelity audio with watchmaking-style craftsmanship.
The Hublot Inspiration by Monster over-ear headphones will have some interesting noise-cancellation perks. According to the company, this feature is built around two discreet microphones: one handles constant sounds, with the second focused on cutting out intermittent noises.
Each pair of headphones will also pack in Monster's new Enigma Audio Engine, as well as wireless Bluetooth with AAC and APT-X codecs, direct USB audio, and user-customizable sound shaping technology for a tailored listening experience. Other features include ControlTalk Universal for making and taking calls and a Monster Pro Link cable for use with any device.
Also worth noting is that this set pretty easy on the eyes, too. It has a funky design with real carbon fiber, a brushed aluminum finish, a leather headband, and specially created carbon fiber earcups.

Hublot Inspiration by Monster over-ear headphones will be available this summer at Hublot retailers worldwide, priced at 1,750 EUR ($2274). However, "worldwide" doesn't seem to include the U.S. and there's no word on when (or if) the product will get a larger release.
