Are you asking yourself, "Self? How Do I Connect my iPod to my PC?" Well connecting your iPod to your PC can be done pretty easily, even for the computer-challenged.
First, make sure you have iTunes installed. You should do this before you try to connect your iPod to your PC. You can download iTunes here.
In the box your iPod came in there should be a USB cable. This connects on one end to your iPod. The other end gets plugged into a USB input on your computer. The USB slot is a thin vertical rectangular port, about 1/8 inch wide by 2/3 inch tall. Laptops usually have these ports on the side or rear. Desktop computers usually have these inputs on the front and on the back.
If your computer doesn't have a USB input (if it's from the mid-90s, say), you can't connect an iPod to it.
If you can't find your USB cable, or it was missing when you jacked the iPod from WalMart, there are several options. Apple has replacement cables for $20 and docks for $30. You can also find replacement cables on Amazon for a lot less money (see below).
