Amazon wants to help you bring the high quality 3D experience this year with a shiny new 3D TV. But you need more than just the TV if you want to take full advantage of 3D at home. You'll need a Blu-ray 3D player, 3D glasses and a some movies. Fortunately the best 3D TV models are available on Amazon right now with bundles that include everything you need to get started with 3D at home.
If you're eye-balling a Samsung 3D TV, Amazon is knocking hundreds of dollars off the list prices of plenty of options. To sweeten those deals, they are also throwing in a free Blu-ray 3D player and Samsung's 3D Starter Kit, complete with two pairs of glasses and How to Train Your Dragon on Blu-ray 3D Disc, with each qualifying purchase. The offer is good on select Samsung 3D TVs, from now through 11:59 p.m. (PST) on December 4, 2010. Check out all of the models being offered with this deal here:
We should note that you will need to buy directly from Amazon, and not one of the retailer's third-party merchants. Also, it will need to be one of Samsung's qualifying 3D TVs. However, you should find something, since there are 11 different models available. One of those models is the UN55C8000, which our own Chris Chiarella recently reviewed. He frothed pretty furiously over the unit, and you should too.
Shopping Tip! Amazon's price on the Samsung TVs is usually below Samsung's "MAP" (Minimum Advertised Price) which means they cannot display the price on the page. Put the TV into your cart and continue through the check-out to see the final price (which is usually lower than any other authorzed Samsung dealer).
The free Blu-ray 3D player is Samsung's BD-C5900, which has an MSRP of $229.99. Aside from the 3D, this player includes AllShare support and it's wireless-ready (you'll need to purchase a separate adapter). It also provides access to Internet@TV, which is Samsung's own on-screen, on-demand entertainment service. At last peek, Samsung's partners included BLOCKBUSTER, Facebook, YouTube, Flickr, and more.
So you have something to play upon setup, this deal also includes Samsung's 3D Starter Kit. This includes two pairs of active shutter 3D glasses, as well as a Samsung-exclusive Blu-ray 3D of How to Train Your Dragon. The MSRP for the kit is $399.99.
If you're looking to score the top grossing 3D film of all time for your home theater (yes, we're talking about "Avatar") then you'll want to check out the deals on Panasonic's excellent GT25 series 1080p plasma HDTVs. These are full HD 1080p sets which, according to reviews are among the best at 3D reproduction by minimizing cross-talk and other artifacts. They also make excellent 2D TVs. The bundle includes the TV, DMP-BDT100 Blu-ray player, and a 3D starter kit which includes Avatar on Blu-ray 3D plus two pairs of 3D glasses. Amazon recently lowered the price on the 50-inch model to $1599.98 for Black Friday and Cyber Monday, including shipping. Check here to see if that price is still available:

While the LG bundle does not include a player, you can add in any Blu-ray 3D player to complete the package. LG's own BX580 is an excellent choice with 3D playback, internet apps and built-in WiFi networking. It's currently on Amazon for a low $169:
