Rachel Cericola over at
Electronic House magazine has discovered and documented the ultimate Star Wars fan's home theater.
Featuring three separate rooms, a fiber-optic starfield, life-sized statues of Han Solo (carbonite era), C3P0 and Bobba Fett, the "Imperial Grand Theater" is not just for show, it's actually comprised of high quality home theater components from Runco, Stewart and Meridian, and comfortable seating from CinemaTech.
Some of the props are on loan from the 3000 square foot two-story Star Wars museum, which is right down the hall... in the same house.
Lead designer was Doug Chiang, with design and fabrication by
Dillon Works of Mukilteo, WA and home theater system design and installation by
Definitive Audio of Bellevue, WA.
