The TH-42PZ77U HDTV features native 1080p resolution (1920x1080 pixels) with a contrast ratio of up to 10,000:1. On the back you'll find 2 HDMI inputs, as well as standard component, s-video and composite video and stereo audio inputs.
The unit features built-in high definition and standard definition tuners (ATSC, NTSC, QAM). It also includes Panasonic's new AntiGlare screen coating to minimize reflection of sunlight and interior light off the screen.
The DMP-BD30 Blu-ray Disc player is the first to support Final Profile 1.1 (aka "Bonus View") and provides excellent 1080p video performance on both Blu-ray Discs and upconverted DVDs. It's a perfect match for Panasonic's 1080p plasma panels.
