Panasonic's new 1080p plasma HDTVs are finally available, and the prices are actually pretty reasonable, with the 50-inch model (TH-50PZ700U) priced at just $3500. That's less than half the cost of 1080p plasmas available last year. And although we have not yet done a full review, we've calibrated one and put it through its paces with some pretty demanding test material, and it has wowed us with its deep blacks and impressive picture detail.
