Westone just introduced the Signature Series UM Pro 50, a new pair of headphones specifically designed for the professional market. However, this option isn't limited to the industry. Anyone and everyone can have reference-level sound and isolation, just like what you'd find on the stage or in the studio.
As the first signature model of the Westone UM Series, the UM Pro 50 is a universal-fit headphone product with five balanced armature drivers and a three-way passive crossover network. Other features include a sensitivity rating of 115dB (@1mW), a frequency response of 20Hz-20kHz, and the company's STAR and True-Fit Tips in multiple sizes for a comfy fit.
Made in Colorado Springs, the product also has Westone's own EPIC replaceable cable, which is made of a durable wire that boasts acoustic transparency and isolation from mechanical cable noise. Also worth noting is that this model has a "new audiophile connector," so users can swap out, upgrade and replace the cable, as they see fit.
Speaking of a perfect fit, the UM Pro 50 is also compatible with Westone's UM56 Custom Adapters, which can deliver the perfect fit via your actual ear impressions and an additional charge of $149.

Westone is selling the UM Pro 50 now, with a portion of sales going to the Hearing Health Foundation. The MSRP on the UM Pro 50 is $699.99.
