The fourth season of HBO's vampire series "True Blood" is about to start, and you might want to consider watching with headphones to shield your neighbors from the sound of blood curdling screams. Not just any pair of headphones, mind you, but "True Blood"-branded headphones from V-MODA.
DJ-inspired headphone manufacture V-MODA and HBO partnered to create a line of six headphone models inspired by the TV show "True Blood," which itself is based on the book series the Sookie Stackhouse Chronicles.
The line of headphones, "Hearwear," appeal to the tastes and sensibilities of those who watch the show and identify with the alluring, sexy style. Six models offer the gamut from ear buds to over the ear headphones. More details on the specific models will be available when they become available over the summer.
Chief Visionary Officer and DJ Val Kolton created V-MODA. Durabilty and style are the requirements of the Hearwear line. While "True Blood" has influence on the style, V-MODA builds these babies to last with "almost immortal durability." The company's MaterialEDGE military-tough testing process puts each model of cans through the rigors of use and DJ-tough abuse.
The headphones are equipped with metal plates, Kevlar-reinforced cables and luxurious fabrics. Just because they're tough they don't have to feel that way on your head. V-MODA promises that your headphones, like many vampires, will span the years without signs of deterioration.

The V-MODA for True Blood headphone line will be out in time for the fourth season debut of "True Blood" on HBO. The line will be available at select retailers including V-MODA.com, Amazon.com and the HBO Shop in New York City as well as HBO.com. No details on price were given.
