Both units are TripleFi, meaning they direct each of the low, mid and high frequencies to a separate speaker -- for a total of three in each ear. The company says it's patented. We say it's awesome. Each also has a frequency range of 10Hz - 20kHz and blocks outside noise up to 26 dB.
If you're trying to decide between the two, the big difference is that the TripleFi 10vi has a microphone, so in between songs on your iPhone or BlackBerry, you can make calls.
