Stewart Filmscreen Debuts Stylish Gallery Wall Projection Screen

By Rachel Cericola

Few projection screens are works of art unto themselves, but Stewart Filmscreen even has its own Gallery -- the Gallery Wall Screen, that is, which Stewart unveiled earlier this week at InfoComm in Las Vegas.

This newly announced line of fixed frame screens has a look of fine art, but can be matched to any room's decor. Of course, a big screen is a beautiful screen, but this option takes that one step further, incorporating a wide variety of materials, finishes and colors to accompany any environment.  Add on a slide show of your own, and your projector/screen combo can become one giant, elegant digital picture frame, while not in service for movies, TV or games.

Aside from looking pretty, this type of customization means that every screen is actually custom built to order. Does that make you feel special? Our editor recently toured Stewart's production plant (in California) was was impressed with what he saw.  For complete details check out his Stewart Filmscreen Factory Tour.

But back to the Gallery Wall Screen, the frame itself is available with a number of different styles and options to choose from, including different materials, textures and colors, as well as frames finished in brushed aluminum, satin anodizing and powder coating. If that's not to your liking, leather, linen and even crystal frames are also an option.

Stewart's full suite of award-winning front- and rear-projection materials, including both fabric and glass, can be used with the Gallery frame. Optional black VeLux trim can frame the image nicely, creating an awesome image as well as a nice room showpiece.

A special mounting system includes leveling vials and a simplified corner key design. Traditional aperture mounts and specialty mounts are available, with Stewart's "Z" bar quick mounting system.

The Gallery Wall Screen is now shipping. Pricing is available upon request from Stewart Filmscreen.
