The Final Frontier isn't as expensive as you might think. When Paramount unleashed the first three seasons of the
Star Trek franchise on Blu-ray, A/V geeks were in Heaven -- as well as the poor house. At the price of $130 per season, it might actually be cheaper to get Shatner to show up at your house.
Today, Amazon is running a nice deal on the box set, which features all three seasons of the original adventures. They are knocking 44 percent off the list cost, for a very respectable $179, which includes free shipping. Here's the link:
Don't mind the negative reviews on Amazon. They're all about the price, not the set itself and while it's on sale, they don't apply. This deal probably won't last very long, so it's one to jump on. The boxed set doesn't have any exclusives, so if you already have one season or want to take it slow, you can still purchase each one individually for only a bit more than the discounted set price.
