WalMart isn't the only electronics retailer jumping the gun with Black Friday-style deals well before Black Friday. The PN50B430 may be entry-level, but it's a solid HDTV from a well-known and respected brand, unlike the off-brand deals being offered by some other retailers this holiday season. With high definition resolution (1366x768 pixels native resolution) and 600 Hz sub-field drive, the PN50B430 provides excellent picture quality when watching movies or sports.
Its built-in ATSC/QAM tuner allows you to watch your HDTV for free over the air, or to tune in your local cable channels without a set-top box. Its game mode allows you to get in the game with enhanced blacks, sharp picture quality, speedy image processing and optimized audio.
In short, it would make a lovely (if rather large) gift under the tree this year, leaving you extra cash for that Blu-ray player you've had your eye on.
