Both sets feture full 1080p (1920x1080 pixels) resolution, and excellent contrast for deep rich black levels. The rated contrast of both sets is 30,000:1 (native) and 1,000,000:1 (dynamic), though of course, that's a little hard to measure. Each set also includes multiple HDMI inputs as well as component, S-video, composite and PC inputs for maximum flexibility.
The PZ800 model includes a fourth HDMI input (over the PZ85's three) and it includes a unique THX picture mode which automatically adjusts the set for optimum picture quality.
