This will be the year you get off the couch. No really! The Wii paved the way for gaming that actually gets you moving. Now, both the Xbox 360 and PS3 will soon add motion controls into the gaming experience, and with Microsoft's new Kinect, you can get your heart racing while checking out the new motion controlled games.
Walmart wants to make it easy for Xbox 360 owners to get that bit of exercise. For a limited time, if you pre-order a Kinect bundle, starting at $199, the mega-retailer will throw in a $30 gift card, which can be used online or at any store. Check out all of the details here:
The Kinect system adds motion to your current Xbox 360 controller. Just hook up Kinect and it will track all of your movements in 3D, responding to directions, motions and even emotion in your voice.
While that is extremely cool, the product does not stand alone -- at least for this offer. You need to order the Kinect, as well as one Kinect Game and an additional game. All three will come in for a grand total starting at just $199. But then you get the $30 back (for more games, of course!).
Better act quickly, though. The offer to get the gift card is good on purchases through this Friday, July 23, 2010.
