That's the idea behind Polk's latest product, the SurroundBar 6000 Instant Home Theater (IHT). This super-slim unit boasts big sound from a slick, slender enclosure. At only 3.75 inches tall and less than two inches deep, this unit fits perfectly under almost any flat panel.
Designed for everything from gaming to home theater, the SurroundBar 6000 IHT can deliver 160 watts of sound. Plus, it's got Polk's own SDA Surround technology, which is what makes that 3D-type surround sound. Polk's Digital Logic digital signal programming also provides an easy, instant setup.
Finally, this set can certainly pump a little boom for the room, via the included 7-inch wireless subwoofer. That wireless feature makes for an easy placement. Just put it anywhere in the listening area, up to 75 feet away. No cable clutter is needed.
The SurroundBar 6000 IHT will ship this month for $499 (MSRP).
