Nothing is more wonderful than hot pizza and a marathon of Grand Theft Auto. Sony wants to treat PlayStation 3 users to something more than Blu-rays, video games and everything else under the traditional PS3 umbrella.
To this end, both sides just announced a partnership that will allow gamers to score some Papa John's pizza right from any connected PS3 console. [Apparently reaching over to grab the phone uses too many health points? -Ed.]
Ordering pizza from a set-top box or gaming console is nothing new. Just this time, it should be hard to miss. The ordering option is plastered right on the PS3 browser's main startup page. The Papa John button is the one calling your name, in between links for YouTube and the site for the Gerard Butler action flick Gamer.
Click on the button and you're lead to a PlayStation-specific version of the Papa John website. As far as we know, there are no special PS3 pizza promotions. However, the site does have a slightly different layout, as well as ads for games like PixelJunk Shooter and Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time.
