Although the company is best known for its extensive line-up of flat panel display mounts, OmniMount is slowly but steadily growing its Core Collection of home theater furniture. Proof of this was seen at this week's CEDIA Expo in Atlanta, where OmniMount unveiled the Core Collection's newest members: the Torino and Verona series. A new enclosed A/V rack system, the RE42, was also introduced.
Representing the first two models of the new Torino Series are the Torino 36 and Torino 36T. Featuring an oval, rounded-edge design with black glass and a high gloss finish, both the 36 and 36T can hold flat panel displays with screens up to 42 inches and up to 80 pounds. The 36, designed primarily for family room applications, features one component shelf whereas the 36T features two shelves down below and stands six inches taller, making it ideal for the bedroom.
Launching the Verona Series are the Verona 37FP, the Verona 47FP and the Verona 55FP. Each model features a semi-enclosed design with curved edges and open shelving. Screen size limits for the three Verona models are (up to) 37 inches, 47 inches and 55 inches respectively with weight capacities of 160 lbs, 180 lbs and 200 lbs, respectively.
Also introduced at CEDIA Expo was the RE42, OmniMount's largest A/V rack system to date. Joining the RE18 and RE27, these new A/V racks from OmniMount are the industry's only fully assembled A/V racks to ship with cooling fans for equipment ventilation pre-installed. Made from heavy-gauge steel, the RE42 is a 42 space rack with a standard 19-inch enclosure and a lockable left- or right-hinged tempered glass door.
The Torino 36 and Torino 36T are shipping now with an MSRP of $129.95 and $179.95, respectively.
The Verona 37FP, 47FP and 55Fp are also available now with MSRPs of $249.95, $299.95 and $349.95, respecively.
The RE42 A/V rack is available now with an MSRP of $1199.95.
