A massive music collection doesn't have to hog a lot of floor space. NAD's VISO THREE Music System is compact enough to fit on a tabletop, but doesn't leave any audio option out. NAD's newly announced audio solution allows users to crank out CDs, an iPod library, the radio, or content from an external USB drive, all using this compact tabletop.
The actual VISO THREE product is a combo CD player and stereo receiver. Another feature inside the box is an iPod dock, which also serves as a charger. Just add in the optional VISO TWENTY 2.1 speaker system, which includes two compact satellite speakers and a powered subwoofer, and you've got a complete sound system.
Although it offers a lot of audio options, the VISO THREE doesn't demand a lot of space. This tabletop system can be placed almost anywhere, and set up within minutes. Just attach the speakers and you should be ready to rock.
The VISO THREE receiver cranks out 50 watts to each of its two channels, with the CD player supporting MP3, CD-R and WMA audio format playback in addition to standard CDs. Other audio options include 30 station presets for the AM/FM tuner and RDS (Radio Data Service) capability, which can broadcast station IDs and song and artist information from compatible channels.
NAD expects the VISO THREE to be released in the first quarter of this year, for $899 (MSRP).
