By Rachel Cericola

Before you get ready to pass the pigskin (or really, the onion dip), you need to make sure that you have everything ready for the perfect Super Bowl viewing experience. More important than extra-loose pants and a comfy seat, you'll need a nice big flat screen TV, so you may be looking around for flat screen TV sales right about now. The right flat panel HDTV makes you feel like you are on the sidelines -- or as close as you're ever going to get!

While you've probably already started marinating wings, buying an HDTV doesn't have to be a lengthy or stress-inducing process.  There are plenty of HDTV deals still available for last minute TV shoppers, with the option to lock in your best price online, and pick it up in a local store the same day.  Sears is one company that allows you to do this with a huge network of stores all across the country. The Sears website even lets you see whether your local store has your purchase in stock so you can get in and out without any hassles. No fumbles here! Now all you need is the perfect TV matchup. Here are a few Bowl-worthy deals currently available at Sears...

Go Big and Stay Home

The Big Game deserves a big HDTV. Toshiba's 55-inch 55HT1U 1080p LCD certainly fits the bill. Right now, the purchase price on this unit is $999.99, meaning you'll save $200 off the already low price. It also means you'll be able to watch the Super Bowl on a full high definition 1080p panel. Other features include ClearFrame 120Hz technology for smoother motion reproduction, a Gaming Mode, three HDMI inputs, and DynaLight Dynamic Backlight Control to make the image really pop. Get the LED Out

Sears has one of the best deals we've seen for Super Bowl, on Sharp's 46-inch LC-46LE620UT 1080p LED TV. The retailer has this set for $799.99, which is a savings of $300 -- and cheaper than we've seen on any other web site. This set falls under Sharp's AQUOS umbrella, with a full 1080p HD image, 120Hz Fine Motion Advanced technology, four HDMI inputs, two component jacks, and a PC input. Top Brand, Bottom Dollar

Another interesting 46-incher is Samsung's LN46C630 1080p LCD. Sears has this one priced at $798.99, which means you'll save $301 on this purchase. This HDTV has a 1080p image, a 120,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, and Samsung's Auto Motion Plus 120Hz technology, which all boast a smooth, sensational image on fast moving pictures. Other features include ConnectShare Movie for playback from a thumb drive, a Game Mode, and four HDMI inputs. Also because it has Samsung's Touch of Color design, there will be a nice subtle hint of charcoal grey in this TV's bezel. Find out more from Sears:

Big Picture, Little Price

If you've got some money riding on the Big Game, you might not want to drop too much on a new HDTV.  But this doesn't mean you have to sacrifice performance.  Consumer Reports recommends a Panasonic plasma as being the best TV to watch the Super Bowl on.  Plasmas traditionally beat LED and LCD TVs in fast motion reproduction due to the 600 Hz Sub-field Drive that produces the image.  But if you can't pony up the scratch for the top of the line VT25 series, you can still get a hint of that fine plasma performance in Panasonic's entry-level C2 series plasma for mere chump change. Panasonic's TC-P50C2 50-inch plasma offers a nice taste of the technology, in an affordable, 50-inch package. This model boasts a 1366x768 pixel native resolution, 600Hz Sub-field Drive technology, and a 2,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio. Add in extra content via one of the sets two HDMI inputs, or use the SD card slot to flip through photos using the VIERA Image Viewer feature. Sears is currently offering the set for an amazingly low $599.88, which is a $200 savings off the already affordable list price. Check out this deal here:

As mentioned, you'll want to check out whether your local store has any of these models in stock, before you buy. If that answer is yes, you'll be able to pick up your purchase and have it hooked up before the hours of pre-game fun begin on Sunday!
