Earlier this week, we told you that some of Panasonic's 2012 plasma HDTVs would start shipping soon. Know what that means? It's time to clean out the warehouse!
Amazon needs to make space for new models, so they are discounting 15 of Panasonic's 2011 HDTVs. No worries; these are still excellent HDTVs -- but now at cheaper prices! For a limited time, you can score discounts on LCDs, LEDs and plasmas in sizes ranging from 32 to 65 inches. There are plenty of 1080p models, with 3D capabilities and without. However, this offer won't last until they have a big empty room. Instead, Amazon is only offering the discounted prices from now through Saturday, February 25, 2012. If you want to go big, check out Panasonic's 65-inch VIERA TC-P65ST30 1080p 3D Plasma. This is one of the bigger models being discounted. It's also one of our favorites from 2011. It has a full 1080p HD image in 2D and 3D, the Infinite Black 2 panel, the 600Hz sub-field drive, and the 3D Image Viewer feature. There are three HDMI inputs and two USB ports to add other components into the mix or you can just stream content from the web using Panasonic's VIERA Connect service. Our own Ian White got to check out the 50-inch version of this model, earning it the BPBS Biggie Award in 2011. He said, "you can achieve some jaw-dropping picture quality out of it if you calibrate it properly." Amazon is also offering a few smaller options, like Panasonic's 32-inch TC-L32C3 720p LCD HDTV. Besides the smaller size, this one is a bit more no frills when it comes to features. There's no 3D, no web connectivity, and the TV offers a 720p image (not 1080p). That said, it's a perfect way to add HD into other rooms, such as a bedroom, a basement, or other smaller area of the home. Find out more about the TC-L32C3 on Amazon's product page:
