Home Theater Deal: Harman Kardon AVR 1600 7.1-Channel Receiver: $299.77 Shipped

By Rachel Cericola

If you plan to rock out this summer, you'd better have the right equipment. Forget the boombox. Instead, try adding a quality receiver into your home's entertainment setup.

Of course, summer fun isn't always cheap. Thankfully, OneCall has a deal running on Harman Kardon's AVR-1600 7.1-Channel Home Theater Receiver. The receiver is typically priced at $499.99, but the retailer has it listed for a limited time for just $299.77. That's an overall savings of $200.22, leaving you some extra summer fun money! Find out more about this deal on OneCall's website:

The AVR-1600 is an entry-level model, but is certainly no slouch, either. Offering 50 watts to each of its seven channels, the AVR-1600 has all of the audio goodness needed for today's surround sound formats, such as Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio. Other features include an MP3 Music Enhancer mode and proprietary Logic 7 processing, which boasts 5.1-channel or 7.1-channel sound from traditional two-channel sources.

Besides all of the audio processing, the AVR-1600 serves as a hub for your entire audio/video setup. Because it comes packing three HDMI inputs, you can hook up your HDTV, a Blu-ray player, a streaming media box, or whatever other A/V devices you need on hand -- and under one remote. OneCall says that they currently have plenty of these in stock right now, but at this price, they aren't expected to last so grab one while you can. Once they sell out, this deal will be done.
