Samsung's BD-P1500 offers a sleek design, faster loading times than its predecessors, and excellent video quality on 1080p Blu-ray Discs. It also includes bitstreaming support for next generation surround sound codecs Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio as well as on-board decoding of Dolby TrueHD to PCM over its HDMI output (DTS-HD decoding is promised in a firmware upgrade to come this fall).
