Two brands under the D&M Holdings umbrella are getting together for a bit of a duet. Denon just announced plans to make beautiful music with Boston Acoustics inside the new DHT-1513BA Home Theater System.
The 650-watt DHT-1513BA combines a Denon receiver and amplifier with six acoustically matched Boston Acoustics loudspeakers. That speaker set includes an 8-inch down-firing subwoofer. The compact system can provide an instant home theater, as long as you have some type of screen.
Boasting a slim, vibration-resistant chassis, the DHT-1513BA is small enough to squeeze into any room. Denon's built-in receiver has an equal power amp design, so that each of the receiver's five channels is powered by its own discrete circuitry. It also has 3D pass-through and four HDMI inputs for connecting to set-top boxes, game consoles, Blu-ray players, and more.
"Many consumers today are looking for a way to enjoy truly great and immersive surround sound with their home entertainment -- but they don't want to break the bank to do it," said Yoshinori Yamada, product manager for Denon's core products. "With the debut of our high-value, high-performance DHT-1513BA system, we are making it easier and more affordable than ever to upgrade to an amazing sound experience. As soon as you get this system home, you will be able to enjoy a cinematic and detailed soundstage that's ideal for movies, music and video games."
Denon's DHT-1513BA is available now, with an MSRP of $599.99.
