The receiver can be the pinnacle of any setup. Think of it as the brain. And, of course, a new brain isn't cheap. However, Amazon is making it a lot more affordable, offering a one-day deal on Denon's AVR-3310CI 7.1 Home Theater Receiver.
The AVR-3310CI packs in seven channels of onboard amplification, for a total of 840 watts of power (120 per channel). It supports all of the latest audio formats, including Pro Logic IIz, which can add front-channel height effects for a completely immersive experience.
Of course, that kind of experience doesn't always come cheap. The AVR-3310CI typically sells for $1499, but Amazon is making it a lot more affordable with this one-day Gold Box deal (valid June 8, 2010 only):
It's easy to get immersed in everything this unit has to offer. Because it has Ethernet connectivity, the receiver can stream over 7500 web radio stations, as well as Rhapsody and Napster music (if you've got a subscription). It can even snag music and photos from your home computer, for playback on your A/V setup.
Other features include Audyssey's Dynamic Volume, Dynamic EQ, and MultEQ room acoustic measurement and correction system (microphone included). The receiver also has Anchor Bay's ABT-2010 advanced video deinterlacing and upconversion and five HDMI 1.3a inputs. One other neat feature: If you do 5.1 in the main room, this component will power another pair of speakers in a second zone. Find out more about that, as well as the AVR-3310CI's other features on Amazon's product page:
This is a real nice showpiece for any A/V setup, but you'd better act fast. This deal is done at the end of the day or whenever they run out of stock. Amazon is also offering free shipping on this device. Enjoy!
