We love new movies, but actually going to the movie theater? Meh, not so much. The food is overpriced, they usually have Red Vines instead of Twizzlers, and people love to talk and text -- usually simultaneously, and always during the film. Wouldn't it be great if we could watch movies at home the same day they come out in theaters - legally of course - in full High Definition quality?
DISH Network is taking steps to help make this happen, at least with one upcoming new film. The service provider just announced plans to debut Hilary Swank's new thriller, The Resident, the same day it hits theaters.
So while many movie fans deal with the crowds, DISH Network subscribers can kick back and enjoy this exclusive, as well as pajamas and a choice snack treats (pajamas and snack treats not provided by DISH). The exclusive will be available through DISH Cinema Pay-Per-View, with the HD version going for $5.99 and standard definition priced at $4.99.
The Resident features Oscar-winner Swank as a doctor looking to start over after her marriage dissolves. Shortly after, her dream apartment starts feeling a little weird, and she thinks she's being watched. Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Christopher Lee also star.
