Performance-wise, you're in for a treat. The LW5300 is a full HD 1080p LED TV with 240 Hz processing so you'll get smooth motion, excellent detail, excellent energy efficiency and good black levels. In picture performance, it's virtually identical to the LW5600 series which our own Ian White reviewed -- quite favorably -- earlier this year. What's missing is any of the Smart TV or streaming features. If you'd like to add these, we'd suggest picking up a Roku box.
The Blu-ray player offers playback of CDs, DVDs, Blu-ray Discs and Blu-ray 3D Discs for maximum compatibility with your existing music and movie collection. The four pairs of glasses come in the box with the TV. They're lightweight and comfortable, and, because they use standard circular polarization, they're even compatible with those glasses you wear at your local theater (assuming that theater offers RealD 3D)
