According to the latest research, holiday shopping in 2009 is looking like it will be marginally better than 2008, but online shopping is up at least 10% year over year. Apparently the allure of shopping in one's pajamas instead of braving angry crowds at the mall or big box store is finally starting to sink in. And what has traditionally been the biggest online shopping day of the year, "Cyber Monday" is upon us once again.

Online retailers are hitting Cyber Monday hard this year, with Best Buy, Sears, Tiger Direct, Amazon and other stores all launching massive sales to officially kick off the online buying season.
