Colorado vNet Corp. is getting loud and proud when it comes to its latest audio offerings. Just in time for this week's CEDIA Expo, the company has announced a slew of speakers under the WSA umbrella, as well as the PMA-100 amplifier.
Scheduled to ship in Q4 is the PMA-100. That PMA stands for "a pretty massive amplifier." That's because the company says that this unit is designed to handle more rooms and more zones that require more power. This two-channel unit offers 50 watts per channel, and can be controlled via any of Colorado vNet's new touchscreens.
Other features include stereo or bridged mono modes, a 12-volt trigger input and output, and a local source input and video sensor.
If you need something to join that new amp, the company also just announced five models under the newly developed WSA speaker line. Yes, WSA stands for something as well -- "wicked sounding audio." Also available in Q4, these architectural speakers come in in-ceiling and in-wall models.
Three of the in-ceiling models include a bezel-free design and magnetic grilles.
Rounding out the in-ceiling offerings is the WSA-7SS100, a single-point model designed for bathrooms, hallways or other areas that just need a squeak of sound. This model includes an 8-inch woofer and two 1-inch Teteron tweeters.
The one new in-wall is Colorado vNet's WSA-7W125. Featuring a lightweight 7-inch aluminum woofer and a 1-inch Teteron tweeter, this model boasts off-axis coverage from a rectangular form factor.
