Last week at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, Samsung introduced a trio of new Home-Theater-in-a-Box (HTiB) systems featuring Blu-ray Disc support and Internet connectivity. All three systems feature a "retro, no-grille design" and a new, low-interference amplification technology which Samsung is calling Crystal Amplifier Pro.  The Korean manufacturer also demonstrated their first Blu-ray 3D HTiB system for release later in the year.

Both the HT-C6500 and HT-6730W feature integrated Wi-Fi, while the stylish HT-7530W requires the help of an included dongle before Wi-Fi can be used. Once connected to your home network, any of these three systems can then access Samsung's Internet@TV platform featuring the all-new Samsung Apps store. Some of the free internet apps and services available on these systems include: Netflix, Blockbuster, VUDU, Picasa, Pandora and Twitter, to name but a few.

In addition to using Internet@TV, these Samsung networked home theater systems also boast DLNA (Digital Living Network Alliance) connectivity, allowing them to share content and assorted media with other DLNA-friendly devices on your home network.

A CES "Best of Innovations" Award winner, the HT-C6730W is the flagship model of the bunch. This 7.1 system pumps out 1330W to its front towers, wide center channel speaker and four wireless surrounds. An active subwoofer is also included.

Although absent from the official press release, Samsung also showed off a 3D-enabled Blu-ray HTiB system which it intends to bring to market later this year. The HT-C6930W Blu-ray 3D Home Theater System was on display in the Samsung booth, complete with funky 3-D glasses.  Like the other models on display, pricing and availability were not announced at the show.
