In addition to their Wireless Surround F/X, Polk also demonstrated two new soundbar combos at their CES suite this year.
The first, the SurroundBar 3000 Instant Home Theater, is a slim entry-level package consisting of two components: a 31-inch two-way soundbar with 100 watts of power and an 80-watt, 6.5-inch wireless subwoofer. It features an optical digital input for easy connection and setup, and should start shipping in March for $349.
Following after the 3000, the SurroundBar 6000SDA Instant Home Theater will up the ante with a four-way, 35-inch long main soundbar and a 120-watt, 7-inch wireless subwoofer. It retains the super-simple setup of its predecessor, and also adds Polk's patented SDA (Stereo Dimensional Array) surround sound processing for bigger sound out of this slim package. The SurroundBar 6000SDA should start shipping in June for $499.
Both models are designed to work equally well whether wall mounted or placed on a shelf.
