All the world needs is yet another cheap iPhone/iPod Touch accessory right?
Actually, in this case, I think it might. The concept of PosiMotion's Helix Gaming Grip is simple: it provides a bigger handhold for the iPhone or Touch, keeping your grubbies off the screen for games that work entirely by motion sensing, but still providing quick access to the screen when you need it.
I tried the Helix on the show floor at CES, and it was a perfect fit for my gigantic Wookiee front paws, providing a cool faux-steering wheel experience for Need for Speed and allowing for more tilting precision in Labyrinth 2.
Helix supports both portrait and landscape orientation, and offers simple wire management for headphones and docking cables. It also sports a nice soft-touch coating that enhances grip and feels nice to the touch.
The Helix is compatible with the iPhone 3G and 3GS, as well as the iPod Touch 2G.
The Helix Gaming Grip should begin shipping in April for $19.99
