Want a little more from your speaker setup? When it comes to the Braven Six Series, it goes beyond just blasting a little extra sound. According to the company, this is a "talented" speaker, designed to do more than just playing a little music on your desktop.
First and foremost, these speakers can deliver room-filling music almost anywhere. That alone is impressive, given that each speaker weighs in at about 12 ounces and measures 6 inches in length. That small size also means they're also easy to take to work, to a picnic, to the back deck, or to any other spot in need of a little sound.
Of course, these multi-talented speakers don't just deliver music, but double as a speakerphone. They can also charge up USB devices, whether at home or on the go. If you like all those things, you can add Six models into your setup. Even though each one works well alone, Braven says that the speakers can be daisy-chained, for a multi-speaker setup.
The Six Series includes a total of three models. The aircraft-grade aluminum 600 model comes in Moab Red or Mountain Ash. The high-end 650 model comes in classic aluminum, and packing APTX for all of you audiophiles. Last, but certainly not least, the 625s is rugged with shock-absorbent rubber. Perfect for outdoor adventures, the 625s is available in Stealth Black and Summit Green.
All three of these Bluetooth speakers have two custom extended-range drivers, with 3-watt speaker output. Depending on the model, Braven says that battery life ranges from 12 to 20 hours, which can also juice up any connected USB device.
"These speakers are built for big audio in an attractive portable package," says CEO Warren Osborn. "They are so dynamic and versatile that they fit on a CEO's desk or a family's picnic table, a designer handbag or a teen's backpack."
Braven just started shipping the 600, 625s and the 650. The company has listed prices at $149.99, $179.99 and $189.99, respectively.
