These noise-isolating headphones have a bit of an old-school design, with extremely modern insides. The P5s boast a very natural sound, via ultra-linear neodymium magnets and Mylar diaphragms. Despite all of the technology inside, they are actually very easy on the ears, thanks to an ergonomic design, as well as sealed leather earpads.
For Apple fans, the P5s also includes a Made for iPod cable. That makes it easy to control both the iPod and iPhone, right on the cable. A microphone in the cord also allows users to make and take calls, using the iPhone. The set does come with a second, shorter cord, without the control features.
