By Rachel Cericola

Thanksgiving is so close, you can almost smell the turkey. Of course, we prefer the smell of new TVs. TigerDirect is making it hard not to think about a 3D TV, with a deal on Sony's 46-inch KDL46HX800 3D LED. This set has a list price of $2499.99. However, TigerDirect is instantly knocking off $1000. Type in the coupon code QFF12349, and you will save an additional $400, for a total of $1400 in savings!

The 3D does require glasses, which are sold separately. Sony has its TDG-BR100B 3D glasses, which sell for $149.99 each. For $399.99, you can get Sony's 3D Deluxe Starter Kit, which features two pairs of glasses, Sony's 3D Sync Transmitter, an HDMI cable, and a Blu-ray 3D copy of Alice in Wonderland.

As a 2D TV, however, this set offers a 1080p HD image, Dynamic Edge LED backlighting, and Motionflow PRO 240Hz refresh rate technology.

If you need additional entertainment, the KDL46HX800 does feature DNLA support, so you can stream content from compatible computers and other devices. You can also tap into BRAVIA Internet Video right from the remote. This offers up content from Netflix, Pandora, YouTube, and plenty of other content partners.

TigerDirect will ship this 3D TV the same day you order it, so why wait? The retailer is also offering free shipping. Just don't forget to use coupon code QFF12349 for the extra $400 savings.
