This 55-incher features support for active 3D technology. That boasts the best 3D image possible, promising a full 1080p image to each eye. Of course, to get those 3D goodies, you will need to purchase one or more pairs of Panasonic 3D glasses -- and maybe even a Blu-ray 3D player!
If you want to wait on the 3D, the TC-P55ST30 is a great option for 2D TV as well. Featuring a full 1080p HD image, this HDTV includes the Infinite Black 2 panel and 3D 24p Cinema Smoother, the 600Hz subfield drive, two USB ports and three HDMI inputs. It also has VIERA-specific features including VIERA Image Viewer with 3D playback for photos and movies, as well as VIERA Link.
