Looking for a big screen 1080p HDTV? How about one that's enormous, supports 3D and doesn't require a trip to the pawn shop to raise enough cash to buy it? Black Friday is just a few days away. You could fight the crowds or you could just sit back, kick up those fuzzy slippers, click a few keys and wait for holiday gifts to come right to your door. We love the Internet!
We found the ultimate web deal on Samsung's 64-inch PN64D550 1080p 3D plasma. Right now, Amazon has this 3D TV for $1758.87. That price is through World Wide Stereo, which is one of the retailer's third-party merchants. However, that price includes free shipping and is approximately $940 off the list price of this HDTV. It's also the absolute cheapest that we've seen this unit. You need to see it, too. Check out Amazon's product page for more details:
This 64-incher does include support for 3D content. However, you will need to purchase a pair (or a few pairs) of Samsung's 3D glasses. A Blu-ray 3D player wouldn't hurt, either. If you want to wait on the 3D, the PN64D550 still makes for a great 2D TV. It has a full 1080p HD image, 600Hz Subfield Drive for excellent motion resolution and Samsung's Crystal Full HD Engine with Cinema Smooth technology. It also connects to your home network to stream local media via AllShare and DLNA support.
To add other AV devices into the mix, this set also has two HDMI and two component inputs, a USB port, and a PC input. Last, but certainly not least, the PN64D550 has Samsung's Plasma Plus One Design, which delivers a bigger picture thanks to a narrower outer frame. They're cramming a 64-inch image into the same cabinet space taken by last year's 63-inch model. More screen, less frame. What's not to like?
When ordering, remember to buy this TV from World Wide Stereo, not Amazon or one of its other third-party merchants. They are the ones offering the lowest price on this HDTV including shipping. Better shop soon, before the retailer runs out of stock. Of course, if you miss out on this deal, Amazon is also selling the same TV directly. At last look, Amazon's price was $1899 but that may change as the holiday deals continue to pop.
