Feral, (Daniel Sousa, USA, 13 min.)
Get a Horse, (Lauren MacMullan, USA, 6 min.)
Mr. Hublot (Laurent Witz, Luxembourg/France, 11 min.)
Possessions, (Shuhei Morita, Japan, 14 min.)
Room on the Broom, (Max Lang & Jan Lachauer, UK, 25 min.)
A decent but uninspiring group. Better than the last couple of years, though.
Feral A young feral boy is found living in the woods. Attempts to tame him and his attempts to adapt to civilization do not work all that well. The film works only a little bit better.
Get a Horse Old-time Disney comes back to life in this playful comedy that harkens back to 80 or so years ago. Good stuff.
Mr. Hublot In a futuristic setting where machines and humans live in one body, a man with OCD who never ventures outside his house, spots a dog-machine in trouble outside his home. He takes him in with the results being both good and bad. Loved the animation.
Possessions A man loses his way before happening upon a small shrine. Upon entering, he seems to enter another world filled with discarded things. He sets about to mend them and their feelngs. Clever and interesting-looking.
Room on the Broom Works for young kids, but doesn't work that well on a second level for adults. While that may not be a negative to you, it is to me.
