The S15 Power Conditioner has a back-up battery with an output capacity of 1500VA (900 watts). When everything goes down, the S15 will stay on long enough for you to shut down everything properly. The transformer in the unit automatically regulates power, allowing the S-type to correct brownouts and over voltages between 90 and 144 volts to within 5 percent of 120 volts. If the power is outside of that range, the battery back-up will kick in.
